The weather was a lovely gentle rain all day up to about 4 pm with the greens bumpy from fine drainage holes which had been bored into the surface. The course, in consequence, was empty apart from Tony 'Deadshot' Biggs and your esteemed editor. We suffered through the storm (?) and arrived in a deserted clubhouse. However other Crispies had snuck out with Jason Brock (aka Captain Comet) first with 39 points from Mark Popham (aka Hank Hall), Michael Bird (The Owlman) and Nat Pepperel. In the crisps were Deadshot, Andy Smith and Stuart Sully (Wolverine). The superhero list is growing rapidly so I hope that you are keeping up. It must be mentioned that some cards are not up to standard or not even submitted which makes checking difficult. Some claimed crispy handicaps are not accurate and it is up to individuals to make sure that they are right. Good to see the committee about with Colossal Boy playing as well as our Chairman (aka Uther Pendragon).
